On 2 March 2026 

The International Affairs Section, led by Aj Tonphon Sapnirund, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, welcomed Prof. Dipsikha Bora, Dean of Life Sciences, Dibrugarh University, to discuss potential academic collaboration between the two institutions 

Both parties exchanged information on academic strengths and explored possible areas of cooperation, including student exchange programs, dual degree initiatives, credit transfer, overseas internships, and joint research in potential fields.

Following the discussion, both sides agreed to coordinate directly with relevant faculties and colleges to define specific areas of collaboration and develop joint activity plans, prior to proceeding with the preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The meeting marks another important step in expanding the University’s international partnership network
